DLA Piper advises Qatar Development Bank on Wellbees’ US$3.6 million Series A financing
DLA Piper advised Qatar Development Bank (QDB), as the lead investor in Wellbees’ US$3.6 million Series A financing round. Wellbees is an enterprise-focused, AI-powered employee wellbeing platform that helps organizations improve workforce wellbeing through personalized, measurable experiences.
Operating in more than 100 countries and supporting 38 languages, Wellbees provides solutions spanning physical, mental, emotional, social, financial, occupational, environmental, intellectual, and spiritual wellbeing. Its platform includes expert consultations, habit tracking, wellness programs, employee engagement initiatives, analytics, and next-generation Employee Assistance Programs.
The financing will support Wellbees’ expansion across the Gulf region, including the opening of its Qatar office, the growth of its regional team, and further investment in software, product development, and AI capabilities.
The DLA Piper deal team was led by Partner Dr. Ehab Elsonbaty and Associates Taylor Mielnicki and Marcos Taiana (all New York).
