Jarrod Isfeld practises in the area of securities and corporate finance.

Jarrod has extensive experience in legal structuring and securities compliance in connection with equity and debt financings and merger and acquisition transactions, both public and private.  He has advised open and closed-ended investment funds on initial structuring and ongoing Canadian regulatory compliance, investment banking firms in connection with marketed and bought financings and Canadian and international investment funds and portfolio managers on establishing and maintaining registration or exempt status under Canadian provincial registration rules (e.g. NI 31-103). Jarrod also advises on ongoing securities regulatory compliance, including navigating Canadian provincial securities laws and TSX Venture Exchange rules, and corporate governance. 

Jarrod is a key member of DLA Canada’s Japan Practice Group, advising Japanese corporations and investors on matters related to Canadian inbound investments.

Jarrod is a current and past director and officer of a number of private and public companies.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Jarrod was a partner in the Calgary office of a leading national law firm.
