Cristina Mihalceanu practises all areas of intellectual property law with a focus on patent and trademark litigation.

Cristina has experience in litigating and advising clients on intellectual property matters, including in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and beverage, oil and gas, mining, engineering and high-technology industries.

Cristina represents clients on all aspects and stages of their legal disputes, including providing strategic opinions and counseling, conducting discoveries, working with experts, pursuing alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and negotiations, and representing clients at court hearings and trials. She has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. In advising clients, Cristina has worked with lawyers in other jurisdictions — including the United States, China, Europe and Australia — to co-ordinate complex cross-border intellectual property litigation and strategy.

Cristina also has experience managing clients’ trademark portfolios and advising them on their advertising, marketing and branding strategies, as well as copyright and domain name related matters. Cristina is a registered trademark agent.
