Jan M. Albino López

Jan M. Albino López joined DLA Piper in April 2024 as a Business and Commercial Litigation Associate. Albino focuses his practice on litigation, advising and representing clients in complex commercial disputes, contractual matters, and indemnification claims across a variety of industries. He also assists clients in regulatory and administrative proceedings, including matters involving public utilities, energy regulation, and agency adjudications. Moreover, Albino is a Notary-Public. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Albino worked as Legal Advisor at Puerto Rico's Office of Court Administration where he advised the Administrative Director of the Courts on matters of judicial discipline, labor relations, policy, government contracting and other administrative matters. Before said tenure, Albino served as a Law Clerk in the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals. Albino graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and achieved a top-5 score on the Puerto Rico Bar Exam.
