Colin D. Andrews

Colin has a dynamic real estate practice covering a broad range of transactions including land development, acquisitions and dispositions, lending, and secured transactions. He is also active in corporate structuring, infrastructure projects, leasing and share purchase transactions. Colin has extensive experience with traditional real estate investment structures, including joint ventures, limited partnerships, real estate and other private equity investment funds and other co-ownership arrangements.

Colin acts for various prominent real estate developers and financial institutions including top tier banks, credit unions and private lenders. His ability to easily work on either side of a deal gives him insight into what both parties are looking for and allows him to quickly assist the parties to negotiated resolutions. He is consistently called upon by his clients as a sounding board and trusted advisor given his extensive knowledge and experience in complex and varied real estate transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Colin worked for several years at two leading Canadian firms where he was a key player in some of the largest real estate transactions in Canada and a top-rated real estate development boutique where he honed his lending and development knowledge. He has also worked on broader general corporate law matters and this experience continues to benefit his clients today.  

In addition to his law degree, Colin holds a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours).
