Daniel’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, namely in the areas of insurance litigation, professional liability, product liability, construction and class action litigations.

An experienced litigator, Daniel has participated in several complex class action and insurance-related cases. He is often called upon to appear before the various levels of courts in Québec, including the ‎Court of Appeal, the Superior Court and the Court of Québec.

Daniel also regularly advises clients on all aspects of employment law. He has represented clients in labour-related litigations before civil, administrative and arbitration courts, including the Canadian Railway Office of Arbitration. 

A meticulous and pragmatic lawyer, Daniel stands out for his composure in critical moments, his thorough analysis, and the quality of his legal reasoning. 

In addition to holding a Bachelor’s degree in law from the Université du Québec à Montréal, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal, during which he completed a semester at the Hanken School of Economics, in Finland. Prior to joining DLA Piper’s team, Daniel practised as a litigator in a global law firm that focuses on insurance litigation and professional liability.
