Louise ColemanSpecial Counsel
Louise specialises in construction and infrastructure disputes, largely in an insurance sector context. She has particular experience in technical and complex design related disputes, often involving substantial multi-party proceedings and evidence from various specialist experts.
As a dispute resolution specialist, Louise is experienced in international arbitration in various forums, domestic arbitration, mediation, commercial negotiation and litigation before Australian Federal and State courts. She is admitted in Victoria and Western Australia.
Louise also has significant experience over multiple disciplines, having acted in matters in areas of public and products liability, professional indemnity, property and recoveries. Whilst protecting the interests of insurers, Louise represents a range of stakeholders including manufacturers and suppliers, construction professionals, retail environments and occupiers. She also advises on issues of policy response and interpretation.
