About

Ignacio Delpino has more than 15 years of experience in banking, finance, and capital markets both nationally and internationally.

He advises on structured, bilateral, and syndicated financings, as well as on domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions, derivatives, International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) documentation, and complex regulatory matters. His experience includes guiding clients through London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) transition, financial portability, fintech regulation, treasury operations, and multi-stakeholder engagements with regulators.

Ignacio has a proven track record of designing legal strategies, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and leading high-stakes negotiations. He has implemented compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, served on corporate governance committees, and supported boards of directors in strengthening institutional governance. His experience includes assisting in structured finance, debt restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, project development, international bond issuances, and complex contractual negotiations. He leverages experience in projects and energy, corporate transactions, insurance, and disputes, among others.

With a deep knowledge of financial regulation, Ignacio advises financial institutions, funds, and insurers as they navigate complex financial transactions in Chile and Latin America.
