Stefanie J. Fogel focuses her practice on multi-national food and consumer product regulation and compliance, food and consumer product recall response, corporate compliance, and commercial, class action and multi-plaintiff litigation. 

She works with large multinationals and start-ups in trending areas of the food and supplement space to include plant-based meat alternatives and hemp-based CBD products.

Her clients include national and international manufacturers and retailers of foods, beverages, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and consumer goods, to include clothing, textiles and luxury products,  

She has extensive experience advising on FDA, USDA, TTB, and CPSC related regulations. She is also a seasoned trial lawyer, and has developed a global multidisciplinary crisis management team to address issues arising out of compliance issues, recalls, product contamination, and significant risks to Brand.

Stefanie is the Vice Chair of DLA Piper's Markets and Sectors. She previously served as Co-Chair of the FDA Regulatory practice and as the Global Co-Chair of the Consumer Goods, Food & Retail Sector. Her leadership roles have also included serving on the firm's Policy Committee and the Hiring Committee.
