Cristina has a broad civil litigation practice that encompasses commercial disputes, insolvency and ‎restructuring, health law and insurance defence. She regularly advocates for corporate and individual ‎clients in relation to claims for negligence, breach of contract, fraud, misrepresentation, and breach of ‎fiduciary duty, among others. Cristina has assisted regulated health professionals navigate numerous ‎professional liability claims and regulatory College matters, and she has appeared before tribunals and at ‎all levels of court in Ontario, including the Commercial List and the Bankruptcy Court. ‎

Clients benefit from her depth of experience in the insurance industry – where she previously worked as a ‎claims adjuster handling auto physical damage and bodily injury claims – as well as her training as a ‎Chartered Insurance Professional. These experiences and credentials allow Cristina to offer unique insight ‎and comprehensive solutions to a variety of legal issues.‎

During law school, Cristina received academic awards for highest standing in Law of Emerging Mobility ‎Technologies and Civil Trial Advocacy. She was an active member of her law school community and ‎served as Executive Articles Editor of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues. Cristina developed ‎her advocacy skills by competing in moot court competitions on both sides of the border. She received ‎awards for Best Team and Best Appellant Factum at the 2019 Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot and ‎competed in the 2020 National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Washington, DC.‎
