Kevin Hoy practises in our Restructuring and Insolvency Group.
Kevin has an extensive background in insolvency and restructuring and commercial litigation. He has successfully represented clients before the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench, and various administrative tribunals.
Kevin’s experience includes acting as first or second chair in numerous insolvency proceedings such as applications under the Companies Creditors’ Arrangement Act and counsel to senior secured creditors in Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act receivership proceedings. He has served as lead counsel in multiple civil trials and applications for summary judgment, numerous contested Chambers applications, and has acted for chartered banks and private lenders in residential, commercial, and farmland foreclosure actions.
