  • Defense counsel to a German luxury car manufacturer in multidistrict litigation in San Francisco in the Volkswagen “Clean Diesel” MDL
  • Represented a fast-food chain in numerous class action lawsuits brought by customers and financial institutions in the wake of a cybersecurity incident
  • Counsel to a national insurance company in multiple arbitrations in response to contract and coverage disputes with a globally ranked hospital system
  • Counsel to a billion-dollar poultry producer in response to a DOJ Antitrust Division criminal investigation and parallel private antitrust class action related to price and wage fixing
  • Defended a life insurance company in federal litigation involving challenges to cost of insurance rates for universal life policies
  • Defended a multinational health care services company in response to False Claims Act whistleblower allegations
  • Counsel for McLane Company related to monopolization claims against Keurig Green Mountain in multidistrict litigation in New York
  • Resolved civil claims on behalf of a Fortune 500 auto-parts manufacturer related to alleged decades-long price fixing in the automobile parts industry
White Collar & Government Investigations
  • Counsel to a Japanese engineer in response to DOJ and EPA criminal and administrative investigations of 15 years of emissions testing and emissions system control device disclosures under the Clean Air Act
  • Counsel to the corporate subjects of a DOJ False Claims Act investigation involving PPP loans
  • Defended an executive and employee of an electronic health records vendor in response to a False Claims Act investigation by the DOJ
  • Counsel to the Senior Vice President of an international design, engineering, and construction firm in response to a federal grand jury investigation involving the allegedly corrupt procurement of a $16 million wastewater treatment contract (federal government declined to prosecute)
  • Defended a physician in response to an investigation by the Georgia Attorney General into regenerative medicine products and purported violations of the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act
  • Defended the founder and CEO of a semiconductor company against criminal charges for alleged theft of trade secrets following a $1B civil jury verdict against the client’s company.
