Saskia MacLaughlin focuses on employment and labor law. She advises a wide range of German and international companies on all aspects of individual and collective employment law, as well as related aspects of other areas of law.

A particular focus of her work lies in collective employment law, advising companies in dealing with works councils and co-determination issues. Saskia's practice includes preparing employment and service contracts for employees and executive officers and advising clients on the implementation of restructuring measures.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Saskia has gained experience working in the Labor Law department of one of the largest German financial institutions. Additionally, Saskia completed internships lasting several months at the German Embassy both in Ecuador (2011) and Argentina (2007), providing legal support in consular affairs.
