Edoardo Maestri advises Italian and international clients on environmental law and occupational health and safety matters.

With specific reference to environmental law, his experience includes environmental permitting, including Integrated Environmental Authorisations (AIA/IPPC) and Environmental Impact Assessment and screening procedures (EIA); remediation and contaminated sites; waste management; chemical compliance (including REACH, CLP, biocides and PFAS); product compliance, product safety, labelling and ecodesign; environmental insurance; and environmental due diligence, particularly in real estate and corporate transactions.

With specific reference to occupational health and safety, his experience covers construction sites, workplace and activity-specific risks, and health and safety aspects of logistics and contractor-managed operations. He particularly advises on risk assessment, the allocation of responsibilities and coordination among the various parties involved, and related compliance matters. He assists clients in criminal proceedings concerning environmental offences and in administrative and civil disputes involving environmental matters. He also advises on ESG and sustainability regulation, including sustainability reporting, human rights and environmental due diligence, and climate-related matters.

is a Lawyer in the Environmental, Health & Safety practice of DLA Piper's Litigation & Regulatory department and works in the Milan office. His practice also includes the drafting and review of Organisational, Management and Control Models under Italian Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, environmental and occupational health and safety protocols and procedures, and delegations of functions and powers in EHS matters.
