Giulio Maroncelli

Giulio Maroncelli advises domestic and international clients on M&A transactions and commercial operations, with a particular focus on the Energy sector. He assists clients with acquisitions, joint ventures and project development transactions, as well as with the negotiation of complex commercial agreements in the Oil & Gas and renewable energy sectors, including development and investment agreements, EPC, O&M, tolling and processing agreements. He has extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional transactions involving both industrial and financial investors.

Throughout his career, he has supported sponsors and industrial operators in the development and implementation of energy projects, addressing regulatory, contractual, and market-related issues, with particular attention to the energy transition and innovative business models in the renewable energy sector. He is regularly involved in transactions characterized by significant structural complexity and cross-border elements.

Giulio is Head of the Corporate Department in Italy. In addition to his legal practice, he is actively involved in specialist training and education, serving as a lecturer in courses dedicated to project finance and renewable energy. He also contributes to several industry publications and is co-editor of the firm's Energy newsletter.
