Alessandro Martinelli

Alessandro Martinelli advises on tax disputes, tax compliance and international taxation, with a focus on the mechanical, fashion, technology and food sectors. He assists leading Italian and international clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious tax matters, including significant disputes involving alleged permanent establishments.

He has extensive experience in pre-litigation activities, including dawn raids, tax audits and settlement procedures, as well as tax litigation involving major Italian and international groups. He has also developed significant experience in the aviation, food, media, sports and entertainment sectors, with particular focus on digital assets and the taxation of emerging media, including video games, esports and influencer marketing. He also advises on extraordinary transactions, tax due diligence and tax opinions. He currently serves as statutory auditor for several industrial companies.

He teaches a specialist Tax Master at IPSOA focused on tax assessments and tax litigation. He was also a professor for five years at the Catholic University of Milan in a postgraduate Tax Master programme.
