Amy McClure is a member of eXplore: DLA Piper's eDiscovery Resource Center and is an essential team member supporting case teams and clients. As a member of eXplore, Amy provides high-level document review and analysis services essential for our clients, including production review, privilege review, quality control review, and fact investigation. Amy has significant experience with Relativity and other eDiscovery tools, including analytical tools and technology-assisted review. Amy has over 14 years of eDiscovery experience for large and mid-sized firms, as well as Fortune 500 company clients.

Prior Experience

Amy began her career as an Associate for two mid-sized, Texas based law firms where she practiced Plaintiff's personal injury trial law, including mass tort (asbestos/silica/industrial cancers/Fen-Phen), products liability and premises liability cases. She was tasked with preparing and presenting hundreds of clients for depositions, participating in mediations, negotiating multi-millions of dollars in client settlements and arguing various civil trial motions in both state courts and the MDL court in Houston. Amy also has experience with administrative law, insurance defense litigation, business litigation and general civil litigation. She has second chair trial experience at this firm, and has attended hearings, argued motions, settled cases and prepared and represented clients for depositions.

In 2009, Amy transitioned to eDiscovery and since then has handled eDiscovery workflows and review in a variety of matters including, environmental, patent, pharmaceutical, employment disputes, FTC requests, SEC requests, DOJ investigations, DOD investigations, shareholder derivative actions, securities fraud, class actions, and internal investigations. She has experience in quality control, privilege reviews, privilege logs and as a team lead managing over 50 attorneys.
