EXPERIENCE

  • Advising a pan-African banking group on a complex cross-border dispute involving proceedings in multiple African jurisdictions and the UAE, including jurisdictional challenges, procedural issues and strategic dispute management before the Dubai Courts.
  • Acting for a global hospitality group in contentious and insurance-related matters, including insurance coverage analysis, claims strategy, policy interpretation and coordination with insurers.
  • Acting for an international engineering and industrial company in technical and contractual disputes involving complex factual and expert issues concerning contractual performance, liability and the interpretation of engineering contracts across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Acting for a high-net-worth individual in substantial cross-border proceedings involving expert evidence, interim measures, reputational considerations and multi-jurisdictional litigation strategy.
  • Advising on contentious corporate matters, including amendments to memoranda of association and management restructuring.
  • Representing a UAE company in a dispute with a contractor in an English-language LCIA arbitration seated in Dubai and governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.
