Payton is a Paralegal in the Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations Group at DLA Piper and is based in Dubai. She has experience in both New Zealand and Middle East in the area of commercial dispute resolution, including international arbitration and litigation.

EXPERIENCE
- Assisted in representing the MEP contractor in a DIAC arbitration in relation to an unlawful termination claim, call on the performance bond and the contractor’s claims for extension of time, and recovery of outstanding payment entitlements in connection with an ultra-luxury resort and residences in Dubai under UAE law.
- Assisted in acting for a government entity in an arbitral dispute concerning desalination plants in Saudi Arabia.
