Petra Springer is an Associate of the Litigation and Regulatory Group at DLA Piper Hungary.
Petra advises clients in commercial and administrative litigation, as well as domestic arbitration proceedings. Her practice focuses on construction disputes, corporate litigation, damages claims, insolvency and enforcement proceedings, and administrative litigation. She has significant experience representing clients in judicial review proceedings relating to environmental permits, construction and planning permits, and other regulatory decisions, including proceedings before the Hungarian Supreme Court (Kúria). She also has experience in complex cross-border matters involving private international law.
Representative matters include the representation of a Hungarian construction company in litigation based on an expert opinion issued by the Performance Certification Expert Body, as well as the representation of an international toy manufacturer in litigation concerning damages arising from interim measures. She has also been involved in several high-profile environmental and construction permitting disputes and related administrative court proceedings.
She regularly publishes in the fields of civil procedure, administrative procedural law, private international law and insolvency law.
Prior to joining DLA Piper Hungary, she worked in the legal department of the Hungarian subsidiary of one of the world’s largest food retail chains and gained experience at law firms serving a diverse international client base.
