Paweł Szymański advises domestic and international clients on a broad range of real estate matters, with a particular focus on large-scale logistics, industrial and commercial property investments.

He works on complex acquisitions and disposals structured as asset deals and share deals, portfolio transactions, and development projects across Poland. He regularly supports global investment funds and institutional investors throughout the entire investment lifecycle, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, and negotiating development management agreements, property and asset management agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and commercial leasing arrangements.

Paweł also advises on development and construction aspects of logistics and industrial projects, as well as on the commercialisation and management of completed assets in the Polish real estate market.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising Elite Partners Capital, a Singaporean investor, on its first investment in Poland under a DMA agreement and on the acquisition of a property of approximately 93,000 sq. m. located in northern Poland.
  • Advising a US real estate investment fund on a transaction structured as an asset deal involving a single-tenant warehouse building with a gross leasable area (GLA) of approximately 65,000 sq. m., located in central Poland.
  • Advising a Kuwait-based investment fund on the development of logistics centers in Łódź, Poznań, Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Sosnowiec, including the negotiation of DMA agreements, property management agreements, and asset management agreements. The total GLA of the completed projects exceeds 300,000 sq. m.
  • Advising a US real estate investment fund on the acquisition of a property in south-western Poland for the development of a logistics and production facility, with a GLA of approximately 60,000 sq. m.
  • Advising Elite Partners Capital, a Singaporean investor, on the acquisition through an asset deal of six warehouse buildings with an area exceeding 260,000 sq. m., located in P3 Mszczonów, a logistics park situated to the south-west of Warsaw.
  • Advising Elite Partners Capital, a Singaporean investor, on the acquisition of a 54,000 sq. m. property in Radomsko. This is the first facility of a logistics park that will potentially consist of 11 halls with a total area of 380,000 sq. m.
  • Advising a Kuwait-based investment fund on the sale of shares in the SPV owning a logistics project in Gdańsk (a warehousing, manufacturing and service facility with a GLA of 51,000 sq. m. and potential expansion of a further 51,000 sq. m.).
  • Supporting a Kuwait-based investment fund in the negotiation of shareholders' agreements governing the relationship between the shareholders of the project companies developing two separate logistics centres, and on land development, construction management and leasing issues related to these projects.
  • Advising a leading global alternative investment manager on the acquisition of two companies owning two large logistics centres in Poland (one located near Warsaw, the other near Wrocław), developed by Panattoni (the total GLA of both centres is more than 125,000 sq. m.). This transaction was part of a portfolio transaction involving a total of eight assets located in Poland, Spain and Germany.
