Marcell is focused on civil litigation, insolvency and international arbitration.

In 2023, his paper on the admissibility of illegally obtained evidence in international investment arbitration was awarded first place at the National Scientific Students’ Associatons Conference, in the Civil Procedure Section. He participated in the 2022 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where his team ranked 4th in the international rounds in respect of combined Applicant-Respondent memorials. He also received the award for the 3rd Best Oralist in the European Friendly Rounds.
