DLA Piper Argentina
Av. Eduardo Madero 900 16th FloorBuenos AiresC1106ACV Argentina

With offices in Buenos Aires and in New York, DLA Piper Argentina advises transnational investors, among them some of the world's largest multinationals and financial institutions as well as prominent domestic companies and institutions.

We combine the strengths of renowned legal scholars with the skills of accomplished transactional attorneys. Almost all of our partners trained in both Argentina and the United States and we link our vast experience to DLA Piper's global platform.

Over the past three decades, our partners have taken on high-profile mandates in Argentina in connection with major privatizations, debt restructurings, project developments and financings, both as practitioners and advisers to the government. Such projects have included the re-negotiation of Argentina's foreign debt in the 1980s, 2002-2005 and 2008-2010 and the privatizations of YPF (the former state-run oil and gas company), ENTel (now Telecom and Telefonica), Gas del Estado (acquired by British Gas and currently known as MetroGAS – we also acted as counsel on the British Gas divestiture of this asset in 2015) and Aguas Sanitarias de la Nación (currently known as Agua y Saneamientos Argentinos S.A.), which we now represent in capital markets and corporate matters.

Our areas of practice include foreign investments, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financial and banking transactions, project finance, debt restructuring and insolvencies, infrastructure and government bidding processes, renewable energy and electricity, antitrust, intellectual property and technology transfer, telecommunications, media technology and internet, real estate, arbitration, complex litigation and product liability, insurance law, labor and social security law, oil and gas, taxation, corporate crime and investigations, privatizations, administrative law and regulatory matters, and environmental law.
