DLA Piper recognized as a top law firm for client service by BTI Consulting Group

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that it has received the second-highest ranking for law firm client service in the BTI Client Service A-Team 2021 report. This marks the 12th year that DLA Piper has been recognized in the report and its highest-ever ranking.

According to the report, clients noted that DLA Piper delivers “global-scale capabilities with some of the highest levels of client service in the legal market,” is “skilled in providing better thought leadership than most in key areas” and is typically “one of the first to jump on a new topic.” The firm was also recognized for its ability to act quickly, an “acute need in today’s market,” and making the experience easy for clients, the report said.

The firm was ranked “Best of the Best” by BTI in 13 of the 17 categories the organization uses to define superior client service, including mobilizing resources, fielding the absolute best team, demonstrating a commitment to help, client focus, understanding the client’s business, legal skills, quality products, meeting a core scope, keeping clients informed, dealing with unexpected changes, advising on business issues, unprompted communication and innovative approach.

For the fifth consecutive year, DLA Piper was also included on the BTI Client Service 30 list, which names the top 30 firms out of the 650 total firms serving large and Fortune 1000 clients.

“We continually strive to improve our ability to serve as an invested and collaborative legal partner to our clients, across all of our practices, sectors and geographies,” said Frank Ryan, DLA Piper's Americas chair. “It is very affirming that our clients and the broader legal community relied upon us to deliver excellent service during a year of unprecedented challenges. We are committed to helping our clients navigate times of growth and change.”
