DLA Piper ranked among best law firms for women by Working Mother for tenth year

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that it has once again been named one of the best law firms for women by Working Mother.

For the tenth year, DLA Piper was recognized for its success in hiring, retaining and promoting women; its commitment to providing flexible work arrangements; and its initiatives that enhance the advancement of women in law.

“We are proud to have once again been named a top firm for women by Working Mother. This recognition speaks to our continued dedication to expand opportunities for women at all levels of the firm and provide them with the resources needed to thrive and grow in their careers," said Cara Edwards, co-chair of DLA Piper's Leadership Alliance for Women (LAW).

“We’re focused on promoting transparency in pathways to leadership, as well as ensuring our women lawyers have the business development tools they need to succeed. As a result of these efforts, we’ve seen countless women lawyers rise through the ranks to take on firm leadership roles,” added Alison Maxwell, co-chair of LAW.

LAW is focused on advancing women lawyers through internal networking, developing leadership skills and creating business development opportunities.

“It is our responsibility as a firm to ensure that our leadership pipeline is made up of a diverse group of lawyers who are well equipped to face the challenges of helping lead a global law firm, and programs like LAW are a crucial factor in our ability to meet that goal. These initiatives and policies promote a more inclusive firm culture, allowing us to better serve our clients across all industries,” said Jackie Park, co-US managing partner of DLA Piper.
