Amie Aldana focuses her practice on working in partnership with multinational employers to help them navigate day-to-day legal issues with their international workforce and to successfully implement multijurisdictional initiatives.

She advises employers on all aspects of international employment, from initial engagement to the cessation of employment and everything in between.  This includes assessment of the appropriate engagement options where a company is starting to hire in a new jurisdiction or seeking to explore a contingent workforce solution, reviewing and localizing employment agreements, policies, handbooks and advising on collective and individual employee separations.

A large portion of Amie’s practice is dedicated to providing employers with global solutions to their multijurisdictional initiatives, including diversity and inclusion initiatives, hybrid work policies, implementation of compensation and incentive plans and managing global leaves.

Amie’s practice also includes advising on the employment aspects of cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and post-transaction employee integrations. Her experience includes diligence, cross-border coordination spanning multiple jurisdictions, reviewing deal agreements and advising on workforce integration issues such as employee consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies.
