Ellen Burno focuses her practice in the areas of healthcare litigation and general civil litigation, specifically in the areas of medical malpractice defense and defense of aging services facilities in lawsuits asserting negligence, elder abuse, wrongful death and professional liability.

Prior to relocating to Arizona, Ellen practiced with an international law firm in Chicago and New York City, and as an attorney in Gainesville, Florida. Her experience includes litigating a variety of substantive legal areas including, but not limited to, the defense of health care entities in government investigations involving health law regulations, anti-kickback statutes, the Stark law and qui tam actions. She is also experienced in litigating matters in the areas of health care compliance, corporate due diligence and compliance, and has handled multidistrict litigation matters. Ellen has substantial experience representing medical providers and health care corporations in proceedings related to constitutional claims brought in federal and state court.

Ellen is licensed to practice law in the states of Arizona, Illinois, Kentucky and New York.
