Tori Campbell concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial real estate investment, leasing, financing, acquisitions and dispositions, the real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions, real property development and general real estate due diligence.

Tori represents clients in all aspects of the acquisition, disposition, financing and refinancing, development, and leasing of various property types, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily residential, life sciences, and data centers located throughout the United States.

EXPERIENCE

  • Represented cloud computing company in negotiation of master services agreement and subsequent sublease of 40MW.
  • Represented power plant owner in development of the form power purchase agreement, ground lease, access agreement, and other deal-related documents in preparation for construction of data centers, the first of which will have the option to take up to 500MW of power.
  • Represented data center developers in development of form master services and colocation agreements.
  • Represented ground landlord in connection with the development of a life science innovation center, which was the second phase of a larger multi-use development and involved a five-party negotiation for the amendment to the master declaration for the project in order to incorporate the second phase and provide various protections to the existing parties in connection with the construction and operation of this new development adjacent to and on top of their properties.
  • Represented merchant bank in connection with a joint venture agreement and related documents with an affiliate of a well-known national developer in connection with the ownership and further development of a 1,500-acre master planned development in Idaho.
  • Represented Miami-based apartment developer in acquisition of residential portion of multi-use building that had been vertically subdivided, but still retained a highly integrated network of facilities.
  • Represented Miami-based apartment developer and investor in disposition of several Chicago apartment buildings, including one building that had originally been developed as a condominium and had to be acquired by client in unit-by-unit transactions as the remaining condo owners decided to sell their units.
  • Represented office REIT in the US$1.5 billion disposition of a 60-building national office portfolio.
  • Represented several developers in the acquisition, financing, operating, and eventual disposition of on-campus and off-campus student housing facilities throughout the country.
  • Represented a leading Chicago-based real estate private equity firm in connection with various acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, developments, and dispositions of student housing facilities, senior housing complexes, and life sciences and medical office buildings throughout the United States (including various large portfolios).
