DLA Piper marks Effective Date of closer global alignment

Global law firm DLA Piper announced today that it has reached the Effective Date of its closer global alignment under a unified leadership team, with Frank Ryan serving as Global Chair and Co-CEO and Charles Severs as Global Co-CEO. The Effective Date follows the overwhelming approval by the partners of DLA Piper US LLP ("US") and DLA Piper International LLP ("International").

As of today, May 1, 2026, DLA Piper Global LLP sits above the ongoing US and International entities and replaces the former DLA Piper Global Swiss verein. In addition to Ryan and Severs, the firm's strategic direction is guided by a global leadership team, including global executive and policy committees.
