He has deep experience building innovative technology solutions within the most heavily regulated environments in the world. Todd leads engineering efforts for the firm's AI Innovation Team, PiperAI, in its efforts to develop AI-enabled applications for the firm's lawyers and clients.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining DLA Piper, Todd co-led software engineering and data science efforts at another Am Law 100 law firm, where he helped design and build a contract analytics platform. Before entering the legal field, he worked on top secret projects for the US intelligence community, including building machine learning systems for insider threat detection at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. He can neither confirm nor deny whether he has done similar work for other three-letter agencies.
