Javier Huerta is a Senior Associate in the EU & Competition team of the Litigation and Regulatory department at DLA Piper Madrid.

With over 15 years of professional experience, he specialises in all areas of EU and competition law, with a particular focus on cartel investigations, merger control proceedings, infringement damages proceedings and general competition advice.

He provides expert counsel to a diverse client base, encompassing national and international entities across multiple sectors. These sectors include transport, recycling, construction, food industry, retail and the pharmaceutical industry.

Javier has extensive experience in proceedings before various regulatory bodies and has proven expertise in the design, review and optimisation of competition compliance programmes.
