Alexander is an experienced corporate and corporate finance law practitioner with 20+ years’ experience of working on multi-jurisdictional transactions. He advises clients on a broad range of matters, with a particular focus on cross-border share and business acquisitions / disposals, venture capital investments and fundraisings in video games, media, entertainment, sports and technology sectors. He also often advises on structuring, formation and operation of investment funds and assists Eastern European-origin investors and businesses on international transactions.

Alexander advised on transactions in North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australia, and also worked for several years in New York and Moscow.

His broader experience includes also advising on joint ventures, group reorganizations, private equity investments, and public and private placements of equity and debt securities, in particular by foreign private issuers in exempt offerings in the United States.

Alexander also regularly advises private clients, not-for-profits, social enterprises and businesses on setting up and operating charities and foundations in the UK. His third sector clients rely on Alexander for advice in relation to corporate structure, governance, regulatory compliance and structuring cross-border operations.
