EXPERIENCE

  • Performing vendor due diligence in relation to the property portfolio of a large international steel producer in relation to the potential sale of part of their business. This involved instructing and coordinating other jurisdictions in relation to non-UK based properties.
  • Negotiating certificates of title and preparing reports on title in respect of a £180 million refinancing on behalf of a lender client.
  • Acting for a large financial institution in respect of the £198 million purchase of its London headquarters.
  • Leading a project on behalf of a multinational electricity and gas utility client for the sale of a 61% share in their gas distribution business. Working with a consortium of firms with regular meetings and calls, and organising the day-to-day running of the project with a team across the Leeds and Manchester offices.
  • Acting for a number of clients in relation to their day to day asset management including granting or taking new leases, lease renewals, licences to alter and disposals.
