Jan van Schooten

Jan van Schooten is a litigator with a focus on financial and commercial disputes, particularly in the areas of financing, security rights and insolvency-related matters. He represents both national and international clients, including banks, financial institutions and large corporates.

Jan advises and litigates the establishment and enforcement of security rights, contractual disputes, prejudgment attachments (i.a. European Account Preservation Orders), and fraud and asset tracing.

Before joining the litigation team, Jan spent 1,5 years in DLA Piper's Corporate department, focussing on mergers and acquisitions.
