CIRCLE Session 1: Assessing the effectiveness of compliance frameworks
28 February 2024, 10:00 - 13:00 GMT
160 Aldersgate Street
London
EC1A 4HT
We are delighted to invite you to the first CIRCLE event of 2024, taking place on Wednesday 28 February. CIRCLE is a network for compliance and investigations professionals to engage in relationship building, critical thinking, learning and education.
In this workshop, we will be considering how to design and implement a truly effective compliance framework. Where should a business begin? What are the key factors, both internally and from a regulatory perspective, that will ensure best practice is achieved and maintained? What are the most significant challenges that a business will typically encounter when looking to install or enhance a compliance framework? These are all questions which we will be exploring, in the form of both a Q&A and a peer-to-peer roundtable discussion. In addition, we will be joined by a senior member of the London bar, to discuss the impact of poorly structured and maintained compliance frameworks, when considering the likelihood of prosecution and/or attempting to secure a Deferred Prosecution Agreement.
We do hope you can join us for the first CIRCLE event of the year.
Due to high demand and limited spaces, we are currently not opening this event to other law firms or professional services businesses. This event is most relevant to compliance and investigations professionals of large, global organisations.
