DLA Piper advises Muzinich & Co on investment in Natac Group

DLA Piper has advised Muzinich&Co, a global asset manager specialising in private debt, on the investment transaction in Grupo Natac, a leader in the botanical natural ingredients industry, also owned by Inveready.

Natac Group continues to expand and strengthen its leading position in the natural botanical ingredients sector at national and international level, with the expansion of its facilities and the creation of new product lines.

DLA Piper has provided a multidisciplinary team from the Madrid and Luxembourg offices for this transaction. The advice has been coordinated by Juan Gelabert, partner of the Finance, Project and Restructuring department in Madrid, with the participation of Nerea Cemlyn-Jones, of counsel and Sara Espinosa from the same department together with Enrique Chamorro, partner of the Corporate department. The DLA Piper Luxembourg team included Xavier Guzmán, Finance, Project and Restructuring partner, Luis Muñoz, Tax partner, and Ambroise Foerster, Corporate of counsel.

Juan Gelabert comments: "It has been a pleasure to once again have the confidence of Muzinich in this operation, which has required, due to its structure, the involvement of colleagues from different departments and jurisdictions. This demonstrates our capacity and proven ability to advise on complex transactions of this nature.”
