DLA Piper advises Airtower Networks in its strategic investment from DIF Capital Partners

DLA Piper advised Airtower Networks, a leading developer, owner, and operator of wireless digital infrastructure, in its strategic growth investment from DIF Capital Partners, a leading global independent fund manager that invests in a broad range of greenfield and operational infrastructure companies and assets worldwide.

Airtower’s clients run the gamut from the largest commercial real estate developers to technologically advanced government and private organizations, and the timing of the strategic investment by DIF comes at a time when the market demand for high-quality wireless service is on the rise. As Airtower’s growth capital partner, DIF will also support the company’s management team in accomplishing its strategic vision to become the largest in-building neutral host 5G and wireless network provider in the US.

“It was an honor working with Airtower Networks to secure this strategic investment, especially at a time when their products and services are not only in high demand but on the rise,” said Eric Grossman, vice chair of DLA Piper’s Private Equity Group and lead partner on the deal. “We look forward to continuing to work with Airtower as it grows in this space.”

In addition to Grossman (Northern Virginia), the DLA team included Michael Cubell (San Francisco), Stacy Paz (Silicon Valley), Todd Mobley (Dallas), Xingshuo Liu (Los Angeles), and Rita Patel (Washington, DC).

With more than 100 US lawyers who provide strategic counsel to private equity funds and their industry-leading portfolio companies, DLA Piper’s Private Equity practice has the capacity, experience and relationships to help drive value across the investment life cycle by delivering responsive, efficient and integrated solutions around the world.
