  • Served on a team of attorneys representing health system in connection with becoming the sole member of another health system, including obtaining approvals from, and otherwise providing necessary notifications to, government payors, state agencies and professional boards, and obtaining CHAPA approval
  • Assisted with representation of various health care providers by successfully resolving underpayments and alleged overpayment refund demands from commercial health insurance plans and the Medicare program
  • Prepared and obtained regulatory approvals for various healthcare facilities with respect to certificates of need and changes of ownership
  • Assisted large orthopedic group with structuring, negotiating, and implementing various strategic affiliation arrangements and clinical joint ventures
  • Prepared forms and compliance policies for academic medical center to comply with federal No Surprises Act and related state surprise billing laws
  • Prepared various policies for home health and home care companies to comply with fraud and abuse regulations
