• Advising Barinboim Group on its acquisition of a 50% stake in Ava Trade, a globally regulated online broker headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. The deal combines share re-purchases from existing shareholders with the issuance of new shares.
• Advising Xylem, a water technology provider, on their disposal of their Lowara distribution business and partnership with Tricel, an Irish engineering group.
• Advising HSS Hire Group on the sale of the entire shareholding in its Irish subsidiary, HSS Hire Ireland, to Grafton Group.
• Advising a radiology services provider in Ireland on its acquisition of an ultrasound scanning business.
• Advising a Southern African financial services conglomerate on the establishment of their EU Fintech business in Ireland, in particular aspects relating to their corporate governance.
• Advising Haier Smart Home, based in Qingdao, China, on the acquisition of Electrolux Group’s complete equity interests in its subsidiary Electrolux South Africa.
• Advising a global payroll and compliance platform developer on its acquisition of an online cloud-native payroll and HR software solution system and services business in South Africa and Mauritius.
• Advising the Ukheshe group of companies on their international restructure and the ultimate subscription by a number of investors in Ukhese in the UK.
• Advising Premier Group, a large consumer packaged goods and manufacturing company in South Africa, on its indirect acquisition of an equity interest in SOS Science of Skin, a UK-based skin care formulation and manufacturing company.
• Advising Unilever on a joint venture between CAVI Brands and a Unilever group company, whereby it effectively invested in 60% of the South African licensed distributor of Dermalogica branded products.
