DLA Piper announces new office leadership
DLA Piper is pleased to announce updates to its regional office leadership across the Americas.
Joaquín Eppens joins Martín Mittelman as Deputy Co-Managing Partner in Buenos Aires, with Marcelo Etchebarne as Office Managing Partner. Eppens is a transactional lawyer with nearly 20 years’ experience guiding funds, multinationals, and financial institutions in M&A and financial transactions.
Jason Lewis is the new Office Managing Partner in Dallas, and Meagan Self the new Deputy Managing Partner. Lewis leads civil and criminal regulatory investigations and litigation matters across the US and internationally. Self is an experienced litigator in areas including class action and multi-district litigation, state attorney general litigation, and qui tam litigation.
Francisca Franzani assumes the role of Co-Office Managing Partner in Santiago, alongside Matías Zegers. Franzani is the regional co-leader of the US and Latin America White Collar group and has more than 15 years of experience advising clients on judicial and criminal matters globally.
Jamie Mandell steps into the role of Toronto Office Managing Partner. Mandell represents both issuers and investment dealers on a variety of matters, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, going public transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
Michael Mjanes is the new Office Managing Partner in Vancouver. Mjanes advises clients across the real estate, construction, and corporate commercial sectors on a wide range of matters including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, project development, financing, and joint ventures.
