Yara Nijm

Yara maintains a broad practice in corporate commercial law with a focus on real estate transactions, real ‎‎estate development, and  domestic and cross-border financing.‎

Yara assists clients at all stages of corporate and commercial matters, including real estate ‎acquisitions ‎and sales, corporate structuring, financing and secured lending, and commercial leasing.‎

During law school, Yara was the Co-President of the Allard Law Women’s Caucus, competed in the Peter ‎Burns Mock Trial Competition where she received the Best Jury Address Award, and spent a term as a ‎Judicial Intern for judges of the BC Provincial Court.‎

Yara also holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Northern British Columbia.‎

Yara summered and articled with the firm before joining as an associate in 2025.‎
