Rodrigo Hesse focuses his practice in the area of dispute resolution. He advises on domestic and international arbitration, as well as on civil and commercial litigation.

Rodrigo's experience includes drafting legal reports and representing clients in claims related to contract law, corporate law, civil liability and international law. His practice focuses on key industries such as construction, infrastructure and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Prior Experience

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Rodrigo worked as a trainee and legal assistant on the litigation and arbitration team of two major law firms. He also served as an intern for the United Nations Commission for International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) in Vienna, Austria.

Additional Information

In 2024, Rodrigo completed an internship at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), and in 2023, he attended The Hague Academy of International Law. He also complements his practice by publishing articles on international commercial arbitration and has participated in international arbitration competitions (MOOTs) as a moot participant, arbitrator, and coach.
