He acts for public and private companies, financial institutions, investors, boards, and business owners in matters involving corporate governance, shareholder and partnership disputes, business torts, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, contractual disputes, and contentious M&A-related claims. He is frequently retained when disputes involve significant financial, reputational, or operational risk.
His practice includes substantial experience in disputes arising from real estate and development projects, joint ventures, private equity and investment structures, forestry and natural resources, technology commercialization, and other complex commercial relationships. He regularly advises clients on urgent and business-critical matters, including injunctions, emergency applications, and strategic pre-litigation risk management.
