About

Laura is a senior associate in the corporate law, mergers and acquisitions department, with eight years’ experience advising industrial and financial clients on both domestic and international transactions.

Throughout her career, she has been involved in company acquisitions and disposals across various sectors, assisting both industrial clients and venture capital firms. She has also been involved in corporate restructuring and reorganisation processes, advising domestic and international clients on all types of commercial and corporate matters.

His clients span a wide range of sectors. He has recently worked for clients in the food, technology, investment management and financial services sectors. He has also undertaken secondments at DLA Piper Nederland NV, Amsterdam, and at Donahue & Partners, Chicago.

EXPERIENCE

Her experience includes advising:

  • Terrapilar and Jorge Fernández Cerámicas on the acquisition from Saint-Gobain of the distribution business for ceramics, timber, sanitary ware, bathroom fittings and kitchen furniture under the name “Discesur”.
  • Team.blue on various acquisitions of companies operating in the technology sector;.
    • A majority stake in the share capital of Metricool Software S.L.
    • The entire share capital of the companies Webempresa Europa and Webempresa America Inc., involving both Spanish and US jurisdictions.
  • Grupo Prim in the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Teyder S.L., a company operating in the industrial sector.
  • Grabalfa Pre-Press Solutions, S.L.U.
    • On the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Plásticos Francés, S.A.U.
    • On the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Euroflexo, S.A.U.
    • On the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Flexgal, S.L.U.
  • Avenue Capital Group, a group specialising in asset management with a presence in Spain and the United Kingdom, in the creation of a joint venture with Neinor Homes S.A., which acquired a minority stake, with the aim of building around 700 homes in the Lomas de Flamenco development, in the municipality of Mijas.
  • Echelon DC Holdings Limited —a European operator of large-scale data centres, owned by Starwood Capital— in the creation of a joint venture with Iberdrola to drive the development and operation of data centres in Spain.
  • Nazca Capital in the sale of FoodBox to the BlueGem fund.
  • Nutreco Animal Nutrition Iberia in the sale of 100% of the share capital of Inga Food to multiple buyers. The transaction included both the transfer of the shares and the assignment of a related equity loan.
