DLA Piper recognized in Latin Lawyer 250 directory

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that it has been recognized by Latin Lawyer in the 2021 edition of the publication’s annual Latin Lawyer 250 directory, which identifies the leading business law firms in Latin America.

DLA Piper has “invested heavily in the region in recent years,” the directory notes. “What distinguishes DLA from many other international firms operating in Latin America is that it combines the local expertise of legacy offices in the region’s biggest markets with the institutional resources and knowledge of a global law firm,” a feature that makes it a “truly one-stop shop” for companies operating in the region.

The firm received a “highly recommended” ranking in the directory for a number of practice areas, including arbitration, banking and finance, corporate and M&A, energy, pro bono, and project finance and infrastructure.

DLA Piper’s presence in Latin America includes offices in Puerto Rico, Mexico City, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru, and a cooperation agreement with Campos Mello Advogados in Brazil.
