DLA Piper advises OSF Digital in US$100M Series C Investment

DLA Piper advised OSF Digital, a provider of digital transformation services to companies worldwide, in its US$100 million Series C investment led by Sunstone Partners with participation from existing investors Delta-v Capital and Salesforce Ventures.

OSF Digital will utilize this funding to accelerate service capability expansion, sales and marketing, industry-focused solutions, and aggressive mergers and acquisitions. OSF Digital is a rapidly expanding global independent commerce and digital transformation partner and the only Salesforce Partner globally to earn expert distinction in four major commerce categories. OSF Digital is raising this funding following record-setting sales in 2021 and growing from less than 1,000 employees to more than 1,800 employees in a little over a year. OSF Digital also completed more than ten acquisitions over the past three years to expand the company’s capabilities and geographic reach.

“The evolution of digital commerce will likely play a critical role in global economies for years to come, and it was a privilege working with OSF Digital to secure this funding as it expands its already impressive market share,” said Eric Grossman, Vice-Chair of DLA Piper’s Private Equity Group and lead partner on the deal. “DLA Piper looks forward to continuing to help clients navigate the complexities of the e-commerce industry as new challenges and opportunities unfold.”

"OSF leaned heavily on Eric and DLA’s expertise in the cloud services space and their market-leading growth equity background,” said J.D. Moss, General Counsel at OSF Digital. “Their knowledge and experience drove significant value for OSF in our Series C financing."

In addition to Grossman (Northern Virginia), the DLA Piper team that worked on the deal included partner Anil Kalia (Silicon Valley), associates Andrew Nieh (Silicon Valley), Lori Marsh (Silicon Valley), and of counsel Lael Bellamy (Atlanta).

With more than 100 US lawyers who provide strategic counsel to private equity funds and their industry-leading portfolio companies, DLA Piper’s Private Equity practice has the capacity, experience and relationships to help drive value across the investment life cycle by delivering responsive, efficient and integrated solutions around the world.
