Heather has been a litigator for 23 years, her practice is focused on high net worth and complex family ‎law matters. Heather brings exceptional skills to high net worth property matters, her accounting ‎background  provides the advantage of insight to financial issues; combined with her experience as a ‎litigator and mediator, Heather is able to create unique solutions for her clients. ‎

In addition to her specialized knowledge of accounting and finance matters, Heather provides advice and ‎guidance on the interplay between family property law and personal assets for clients in planning and ‎structuring various agreements, such as Unanimous Shareholders’ Agreements, estates, and ‎Cohabitation/Prenuptial Agreements.‎

Heather received her Accounting degree and English degree before attending Law School at the U of A.  ‎After graduating in 1999, Heather worked for Alberta Justice and then for a commercial litigation firm in ‎Calgary, before focussing on Family Law full time.  In that time, she has represented clients from a ‎variety of different industries, backgrounds, and situations.  Heather is also an experienced mediator ‎who is focused on helping people transition through a difficult situation.  ‎
