DLA Piper strengthens energy transition capabilities with strategic partner appointment
Global law firm DLA Piper has appointed Sydney-based Environment & Planning partner Noni Shannon to its International Finance practice, effective Monday 15 September, in a strategic hire to enhance the firm's energy transition offering in Australia and across the Asia Pacific region.
Noni brings deep experience in environment, energy transition, climate law and sustainability. She has advised both industry and government on major renewable energy projects, carbon and environmental markets, climate reporting, and energy transition policy. Her appointment reinforces DLA Piper’s commitment to supporting clients in navigating the evolving regulatory landscape of net zero economies and achieving their sustainability goals.
In addition, Noni provides pro bono legal counsel on several climate and sustainability-related matters, offering regulatory support to Australian associations and trade bodies.
