Antonio Carlino is a Senior Lawyer in the Town Planning group within the Real Estate Department and is based in the Milan office.
He focuses on administrative law—particularly urban planning, building and environmental law—and gained significant experience in real estate development projects, assisting domestic and international clients in administrative proceedings aimed at (i) the approval of urban planning tools of any level and complexity and (ii) the issuance of authorizations and building permits required for the implementation of such projects.
In the context of due diligence processes relating to real estate transactions—whether involving single assets or entire real estate portfolios—he handles the analysis of all administrative law aspects related to the transaction and provides support in overcoming any critical issues identified, thereby facilitating the successful completion of the transaction.
Antonio also has considerable litigation experience and is qualified to represent clients before the Regional Administrative Courts (TAR), the Council of State, and the Supreme Court of Cassation.
Before joining DLA Piper in 2024, Antonio worked with leading Italian law firms specializing in administrative and real estate law.
