Interest policy
If DLA Piper UK LLP holds client money on your behalf in a general client account, interest will be paid on all cleared funds, subject to a de minimis amount of £100, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing between you and the firm. The rate or rates applicable will be at least equivalent to the rates earned on a Barclays Client's Premium Account.
If DLA Piper UK LLP holds client money in a separate designated client account opened on your behalf, you will be entitled to receive all the interest credited on that account by the holding bank (no de minimis will apply). The interest rates applicable will be the standard instant access designated deposit account rates for business customers paid by the bank in which the funds are held, details will be provided upon request.
Professional liability insurance
Our professional indemnity insurer is Travelers Insurance Designated Activity Company whose address is Third Floor, Block 8, Harcourt Centre, Charlotte Way, Dublin 2, Ireland. This insurance covers our practices in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Australia, Africa and Asia and extends to acts and omissions wherever they occur in the world.
In certain jurisdictions professional indemnity insurance is required to be placed locally in accordance with statute or regulation. Where there are such requirements we have policies in place to meet these obligations, details of which can be supplied on request. Please contact us.
Our services
